IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE ME HAPPY. A flickering candle, smoldering incense. Delicious food. Good wine. Honorable, passionate people. Dazzling sunsets. Enchanting moonbeams. A sensuous life. Perfect espresso to make the perfect cappuccino. For readers to love my books.

Okay, maybe I need to rephrase that opening thought. New opening thought: I AIM HIGH.

Moonbeams Cafe ☽

Have you heard?  Oh darling, it's all the rage.  There's a pretty new place in town, an intimate little bistro.  It is called (quite appropriately so) Moonbeams Cafe.  In actuality, it's an open Facebook community for folks to share and discover good things to eat.

But here's the cool thing:  I'll be choosing ONE RECIPE at the end of this month, then cooking it personally, on film.  That video will be uploaded to my Youtube channel and posted on the Wall of Moonbeams Cafe.  I may be making a surprise announcement or two during the video, I'm not sure *wink, wink* ~ you'll have to join in the fun, and watch the video, to find out.:)

I'd love to make *your* recipe, on film.  So tell me sweetie, what's your favorite thing to eat?  What tantalizes your taste buds, what sweet or savory concoction causes you to salivate?  Remember, post your suggestions right on the page of Moonbeams Cafe.  If I choose your recipe, I'll notify you right away and then I'll be cooking it right on film, in the little kitchen of my lakehouse.  As well, you'll receive a shout-out on the vid.  Can't wait.:)

FUN PHOTO DETAIL:   I shot this pic by pulling what produce I had, out of my refrigerator, and arranging it artistically among candles.  The open bottle of wine was there for effect (not a good enough quality for drinking, or even for cooking, in my opinion~) and the full wine glass bore a very good quality German table rose; so good in fact, that the glass had to be re-filled during the multiple rounds of rearranging... until I got this photo just....right. ;)
